Beware of Michael Torchia and his Operation Fitness/Shape Up America Scams. He claims to be a celebrity trainer. He is not! He claims his events are affiliated to major television networks, television shows and celebrities. This is a lie. He does not work with celebrities and he does not have any shows in development and his events do not have celebrity nor television network affiliations.
Do not go to any of his auditions he uses to lure unsuspecting fitness models and certainly do not pay this guy any money. You will never see it again and you will be very dissapointed in the services he provides if he does manage to actually provide any lack luster service at all.
He managed to take our company for $10,000 for an event that never happened. We got robbed blind.
Beware! This guy is a liar and a scam artist on every level!

I personally participated in the Ultimate American Athlete Casting Call and Operation Fitness Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 16, 2012.
Contrary to what the false post alleged, Mr. Torchia's event was amazing and in fact occurred at the Hard Rock Hotel. The above post was outright false and misleading. Mr. Torchia is honest, honorable, and has a great reputation in the industry. He is a highly regarded and reputable celebrity trainer, has legitimate television affiliations and produces well run fitness model competitions. YouTube proudly displays multiple videos of Mike Torchia training Roseanne Barr and Kimora Lee as examples of his superb work.
Mr. Torchia is doing amazing things in the fitness industry and has helped thousands of people across the nation with his Shape Up America Campaign. I highly recommend him and Operation Fitness.

I have know Mike Torchia for a few years and always found him to be honest and crediable. I was at his last event where he filmed part of what is now his sizzle reel that is being presented to the networks for consideration of a reality TV show. I have seen the sizzle reel and know the producers that are showing it to the networks.
Mike has always had a passion to help others and I can only assume that there is a misunderstanding here that would have caused the negative posting.

I have known mike torchia since 1980. He was my bodybuilding mentor and like an older brother to me. He taught me everything about nutrition, bodybuilding, and helped me become an amateur fitness model and competitor; eventually leading to my successful career as one of LA's best Fitness Consultants.
