Option One Lost my payment at their office charged me fees and then found the check and cashed it Irvine California
It seems my Mortgage lender decided to allow Option One to start servicing my Mortgage, what a nightmare.
I sent in my payment which they recieved since I mail my payments certified and they signed for it. They got it internally but lost it somewhere inside their organization. I was then hit with late charges and fees and they reported it 30 days passed due on my credit report. I replaced the funds via western union but they never called or sent me a letter stating they lost it.
They said I had to replace the funds within 24 hours of my call when I notice it did not show up on my bank statement. I did my part and then two days later they cash my check they found and now I had double payement but they would not reverse any fees or change the 30 notice on my credit report.
I finally demanded from my orginal mortgage holder to change service companys which they did after 2 months of battle and threatening lawsuit.
