On June 2, 2009, in New Jersey, I signed up for an Options trading course with Optionetics. I paid $3,495.00 by credit card. The cash was drawn immediately.

However, I decided to cancel the course and take advantage of the "EXTENDED GUARANTEE." The "Extended Guarantee" states course can be canceled within 14 days and all course materials returned for full refund.

On June 14, 2009, I personally returned all course materials to their rep. Michele Machala at a seminar in Pennsylvania. Their agent signed for the returned materials. No cash or credit note was given for the material. They did not even have the equipment to swipe my credit card for the refund. The promise was that they would send me an acknowlegment for the stuff I returned within 48 hours.

They did not contact me. So, on June 18, 2009, I inquired by E-mail about my refund. They simply replied acknowledging receipt of my E-mail. June 23, 2009 I again E-mailed asking about my refund. Rita replied saying it takes them 30 days to process the refund. I kept inquiring by E-mail: July 16, 17, August 4, & 21. Each time, Natalia Gill told me same thing:  My refund is being processed. I even asked how much interest they will pay me for using my money all that time.

On 08/04/2009 I spoke by phone with Natalia Gill of the Redwood City, California office. She said their office in Orlando, Florida controlled all refunds. So on  08/12/2009 I wrote Orlando asking about my refund. On 08/18/2009 Tanya called from Orlando, giving me the same jazz. On 08/21/2009 I called Orlando. Spoke with Beatrice, who said they sent me a check since Aug. 7. I told it's impossible for the mail to take that long. And of course I threatened further action.

After 85 days (which in options trading is a fortune-making opportunity period) I received a check from them. I am waiting with baited breath to see if it will clear the bank. This is hassle!!

Otionetics, Inc. seems to be Capital tricksters extraordinaire. Not only is their course expensive, but when I went to the training seminar, I discovered one will have buy several additional expensive products from them in order to trade. They lie without flinching. Utterly untrustworthy.
