Complaint Review: Optis Group LLC - Colorado Springs Colorado

I was brought abourd Optis Group as a sales rep and the first thing I was to do was to go through three weeks of online training. For starters my internet was not going to be fast enough so I had to get a different service plan. IF you speak with Mr. Foss he will tell you what you need and the obligitory "and of course we will pay for that" when you expense it. The training is reasonably intelligent and has some good points if you get sucked into what he is selling. He will make it out to believe he is a very successful company and has been for many years. Quite frankly, and I cannot prove this beyond a hunch, he has an idea which would pull the wool over the eyes of banks, credit unins, and mortgage companies that he has an incorporated idea to generate a new revenue stream for them with his copyrighted program.

After much research his so called "copyrighted program" is nothing more than maybe a certain wording in a letter or letters which would be turned over to a client at some point. His so called idea cannot be copyrighted at all. He will position his company to be this very long term successful orginazation and it is really nothing more than what he would like to see it become. It is not there, and I believe with his truths being found out as time goes on he will never be there.

I turned in my first expense report and got the run around for two and a ahlf months it has been sent or any other excuse until I eloquently told him to shove it at which time I never heard from him again. My expense report came back to me as an address that was not in use, was told many times it was on it's way and I sat back and waited. Nothing. All BS.

All of his alleged employees are listed on his website, although I have no idea how many of them are actual people, but in doing some searches on the names one of his sales reps had been indited for bank fraud just a month before I searched him. What an irresponsible action if the other so called employees are actual people who work there. I requested my name be removed from the website immediately and that I was no longer going to be associated with this orginazation and within an hour my name was gone, replaced by another name, in another city, my e-mail was cut off and there was no response from Mr foss in regards to my choosing to leave.

He will tell you about his office in Colorado springs with all of his staff and what they do and I have every reason to believe there is no office, he is working out of his house on his own trying to get his deranged idea off the ground from the sweat equity of others at no expense of his own. This has actually cost me a sizable amount of money which I will recover in small claims court in the very near future.

At the end of my training I was introduced to my so called national sales manager whom in a later conversation slipped up about something to reveal he had been in the online training with me from the beginning and just hiding in the background. In a one on one discussion I asked him to tell me a little bit more about himself and his background so we could have more intelligent conversations moving forward based upon past experiences. As I sat there on the phone listening to him tell me about his work experience and what brought him to Optis Group I was also looking at his profile on Linked in. Not even close to what I was seeing online and what I was hearing.

This may surprise you but the "national sales manager" quit before I did and wished me best of luck. My best guess is Optis Group will be around as long as the owner can maintain his residence and continue his charade by hooking the occasional deal here or there. I do know his personnel address and that the house is for sale so I am guessing business is not all that.

To wrap this up, if you have the opportunity to cross paths with Mr. Foss buy about 25% of what he is selling and the run screaming for the exits. He will talk about his company like it is a large successful orginazation and he has proven to me on more than one occasion he doesn't have a pot to piss in.
