We booked our travel with Orbitz for the first time. We were traveling to Las Vegas but decided to cancel and called their customer service right away. They kept transfering us to India and we couldn't speak to anyone in the United States. We complained and talked to Trishia, Elli, Aisha, an Orbitz Frontier specialist, and a manager.  Elli said "you can't stand that I'm telling you the truth". The maanger informed us that there will be no refund. I told the manager (woman) that I want the refund that was promised to us by Elli. I want my money back for the $461.96 flight that we aren't taking. Orbitz gave us the refund for the hotel but I want a refund for our flight as well. It makes no sense giving us a refund for our hotel but not the flight. These are the reasons you should never book with Orbitz:

1. Orbitz lies and doesn't honor it's promises made over the phone
2. Orbitz Terms and Conditions are not in the fine print when ordering and are very misleading
3. All calls will be handled by service agents in India
4. Responses to BBB complaints will be handled only on terms of Orbitz and not the customer
5. There will be no Refunds even if Orbitz promises to refund you

We settled complaint with Orbitz finally - Orbitz acted in good faith

 Orbitz gave us a partial refund on our order and acted in good faith to refund us partially. Even though it took a while to settle, we finally got it settled. Thank you Orbitz.com
