Told by Jackson Campbell and a supervisor named Sergio at Corporate Office that Oreilly does not maintain any specific written policy RE lifetime warranty. My concern, according to Oreilly statements, is any employee can determine at their own discretion, regardless of knowledge of vehicle, parts, or pertinent processes, that brake pads are or have been abused, misused, or neglected and also that these same employees are empowered by OReilly to determine whether or not a brake pad has or had a manufacturing defect leading to premature failure without any training informal or formal procedures to determine cause. Further, no written policy for determining cause or process of voiding warranty exists. OReilly holds that the vague warranty on every receipt, though not specific to brake pads or any parts, is all they have and that arbitrary determination can be made by any employee of OReilly. OReilly refused to provide manufacturer warranty with purchase/replacement nor any policy stating the aforementioned and we find this to be unfair and unethical practice. A class action is being considered and interested consumers can reply here or call 760-220-0110.
