Organic buying club of south fl. They were sorting out the organic fruit and vegetables on a dirty,tile floor in a room that gets alot of heavy foot traffice coralsprings broward county, Florida
I have belonged to a organic produce buying club because I wanted to eat healthy for close to 2 years now. This past Thursday(8/26/10),I was early to pick up my order of produce. I found the staff sorting out the produce on a dirty tile floor, that get heavy foot travel. When I spoke to the owner of the organic club, Harold Rosenbaum and the site person, they both defended their practice of sorting out the fruits and vegetables. In fact, the site staff, Michelle acknowledged this is how they have "always sorted out" the produce. They were unwilling to acknowledge the serious health issues this could cause the member of the organic club. This club has 80 sites in south fl. where they sort out the produce. karen,margate,fl.
