OutRank.com Profit Fuel, Inc. Non-existant Fraud & Deceptive Trade Practices Internet
OutRank is a scam company. It is a SEO company. (Search Engine Optimazation) company. If you are a small business owner or just have a website, you could be a target of this company. There are a lot of bad SEO's out there and this is one of them.
You have a website and want to be visible on Google (The largest search engine.) You want to be on the front page og Google when someone does a Keyword search for your company. OutRank.COM promises that you will be on the fron page in sixty days. Then when you find out that you are not on the front page and you call the company to cancel your agreement you get transfered around and end up with no one helping you. OutRank.Com hard sells you into paying two months up front (for the 60 days) to get your website on page one of Google. They have a sweat shop set up in Austin, Texas (it has moved a couple of times) with a lot of telemarketers.
OutRank.COm was owned by ProfitFuel, Inc. The principles for this entity were David Rubin and Jared s****.>

I seriously doubt that Outrank, or Profit fuel has any satisfied customers. It is a total scam that brings you no business and is extremely difficult to cancel. I will be doing everything in my power to make sure they credit me for the money the STOLE from me. I just wish I had read up on this information prior to being so naive as to do business with them!!

I researched inc 500 and could not find outrank. I did find them at bbb.org. they have an f rating as of 9/14/11

I can completely understand how a derogatory report like the one below could scare off or make a consumer reluctant in wanting to do business with a company, but one must understand that as a consumer you cannot base your opinion off of what two anonymous people have reported. Quite frankly I think that it discredits Inc.500 as a magazine in saying that.
Any business owner out there can testify to the fact that they aim to please every customer, but the reality is that you aren't, and can't. For all we know this derogatory report may have come from a direct competitor and not a dissatisfied client and even if it did it doesn't mean that Profitfuel or Outrank is a "scam", it just means that it didn't work out the way they thought it would and now this is how they feel. Look at all the complaints Wal Mart, Google, and other huge successful companies have yet we all still do business with them. Having complaints doesn't necissarily make the company a "scam."
We as consumers often think that the references that companies list on thier websites are "phony" and "made up" but yet we take these complaint reports so serious. If you are going to consider the negative, then you MUST consider the positive because I assure you that an INC 500 company has more satisfied clients than they do dissatisfied, or they wouldn't be in business. So if you are trying to do your "due diligence", do it with a dose of reality, please.
