Overstock.com Fraudulant Shipping And Billing Delivery was never made gave me an invalid tracking number with DHL so I cant even attempt to locate myself overstock claims to not know location of merchandise and are charging me the $532.00 Salt Lake City Utah
When I received the confirmation of my order from Overstock.com I cancelled it immediately because the shipper was listed as DHL and I had problems with them before. The cancellation was within the alotted time frame and was accepted online. The following day Overstock sent me a confirmation of shipping claiming they had already shipped the merchandise. The tracking number they supplied was invalid. The delivery company was to call 24-36 hours in advance.
I received a call from the truck on my cell phone with a 30 minute time frame. I was not even in town so I refused the delivery. I have been writing overstock for over a month---they keep giving me different information and false promises to help. They claim to not be able to locate the merchandise and refuse to credit me for it because their policy is that the consumer is responsible for the merchandise once the shipper picks it up from Overstock.com. The fact that Overstock cant even provide a tracking number does not seem to matter. DO NOT do business with this fraudulant company! Also the bill is through Bill Me Later and they have not proven to be of assistance so do not use them either. I have filed with The better business Bureau and the Attorney General's Office in Utah.
