Ordered two watches on overstock.com. One watch had fabric-covered cuff-style band with metal casing and the other had metal band/casing. Received both watches without manufacturer packaging.
They were both of thrift store/garage sale quality. The watch with the fabric-covered cuff band was dirty and had fingerprints on the casing. The all-metal watch had fingerprints all over. Returned both, but should have just thrown away to save some other poor soul from purchasing.
Overstock.com charged me $4.95 "restocking fee" for both watches; admittedly, this is their return policy and it was my fault for not reviewing their policy before purchasing merchandise from them. One week ago, I placed a review on each watch to warn others; I rated both with one star and explained why matter-of-factly with no expletives, etc.
One week later, my reviews cannot be found on their site. This leads me to believe my reviews were screened out because they were less than favorable. In addition, it leads me to believe they probably write their own reviews in an effort to sell their substandard merchandise. I am an overstock.com customer no more and advise others to avoid this site.

Like the OP I also received dollar store merchandise from Overstock.com. I ordered a down comforter that looked fluffy in the photo's yet I received was a paperthin mattress pad. I called Overstock because I thought I received the wrong item & they claim this is the one in the photo. Not even close, this rag is less than a 1/8 inch thick. It wasn't worth it to ship this back so I gave it to my dog. Even the dog looked at me like I was cheap so I folded it over 5 times & when that didn't add any cush I added a pillow to the middle. Yeah, it took some alterations to give this expensive king size down 'rag' some fluff. Like the OP I posted a review of this product that was accepted when submitted yet has never appeared on the site under product reviews. Funny how the positive reviews & ratings seem to post without problem ? I've come to the conclusion it's all about the O & their methods of customer 'censorship'. The only thing I can suggest is contacting the BBB in SLC Utah. Expect to take a number though - the person I spoke to commented there are a LOT of complaints against Overstock that go unresolved.
