General Contractors have it tough--they have to work with sometimes undependable subcontractors and sometimes flighty homeowners.
I get that. It's a rough job, and can be thankless.
Palatin Remodeling has some outstanding subs--including artisan-quality carpenters and relationships with some of the best specialists in the home remodel business.
So why the low review? Poor communication and an overall inability to step and take full responsibility for their decisions. I'm acting as my own general for the remainder of this huge project because we ran out of money, time, and--most of all--patience.
My advice: check references very very carefully. Ask specifically about budget and timeline, not just quality of work and ability to BS.

Attention all,
Palatin Remodeling, Inc. has been recently plagued and targeted by false negative reviews by the suspected companies of Get Positive Reputation and Improve Your Image, which are the same company. This company posts false generic reviews on popular review sites such as Yelp and Trust Link in order to sell their "Reputation Packages" to small businesses such as ours. This exact same review has been used word-for-word on multiple review sites for numerous companies. This unethical company hopes to gain profit by scamming small businesses around the nation by selling their packages to remove false comments that they themselves have posted. I urge you to disregard this Ripoff Report posting. To further defend our case, our company does not
advertise in newspapers and we have no record of this "customer" in our database.
