David Soares announced today that ROBERT CARLSON, 50, of Sarasota, FL, pled guilty to (1) Count of Insurance Fraud in the 4th Degree, a Class E Felony, before the Honorable Daniel Lamont. CARLSON faces 5 years of probation and will forfeit $300,000. On or about November 21, 2006, at 11 Corporate Woods Blvd., Albany, CARLSON did knowingly provide false information in the form of a bogus prescription which was then used to claim reimbursement from Blue Cross/Blue Shield for a prescription. Another doctor that made a conscious choice to part ways with their oath has pled guilty today. This is another very significant plea that provides a ninth witness who will cooperate fully in the cases against both Signature Pharmacy and Palm Beach Rejuvenation, commented DA Soares. Financial Crimes Bureau Chief Christopher Baynes handled the prosecution of this case.

Dr Robert Carlson saved my life. My experience with Dr Carlson started at a point in my life when I was suffering with severe post menopausal symptoms. I experienced premature ovarian failure at age fourteen. I'm now fifty years old. Who lives almost forty years after menopause? I've suffered for years with insomnia, weight gain, vaginal dryness, fatigue and depression but was always able to manage through it by working hard at maintaining a positive attitude. For years, I was treated conventionally with oral estrogen and provera. I had been placed on sleeping meds and even had a trail run of anti-depressents with none to minimal relief. I finally gave up, took myself off all meds deciding these were the cards dealt to me and tried to move forward. If Dr Carson were only money hungry he could have strung me along forever treating the weight gain. Instead, he asked me to be patient while he investigated the root cause for the weight gain and other symptoms. I left his office that day with a real sense of hope for the first time in years. Bloodwork was done and results proved hormones and hypothyroidism were the root problem for all my symptoms. He immediately placed me on a few simple oral meds half of them, over-the-counter dietary supplements. The results? I feel fantastic!! I feel young again. I'm losing weight. I'm happier and positive about my future. I feel physically healthier and stronger and I'm sleeping everynight. As for the sex life? Greatly improved! Just ask my husband. Dr Carlson is a wonderful doctor. He sincerely cares about his patients. I'm living proof. I recommend him to any male or female of any age wanting to get healthier. He and his office staff have always been kind and I appreciate them too. I have recieved several rewards in my career, the most recent was presented to me for providing the best customer service at a hospital in Sarasota Florida. I think that quantifies my ability to recognize good customer service when I see it. I have been a patient of Dr Robert Carlson of Sarasota, FL for almost a year. Dr Carlson is one of the best physicians I have ever met. He is patient, skilled and kind, and takes as much time as the patients needs. Not only have I been very happy with the care Dr Carlson has given me, but more than 6 of the friends I have referred to see Dr Carlson have all been happy with their treatment. The problems he has helped us with range from hormonal imbalance, weight loss, and combatting aging prolems. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr Carlson and his wonderful staff.
