I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest concerns and regret with my purchase with Palm Beach Toyota. I purchased a 2006 Toyota Corolla S model from their dealership in December of 2008. I decided to purchase a Toyota vehicle due to its reputation of quality and superior customer service. Unfortunately, I do not have the same shared experience with other satisfied owners. Since the second day of the purchase, I detected mechanical concerns and those concerns have not ceased. I have listed below a series of concerns which have been brought to the attention of Palm Beach Toyota. To this day, my vehicle is NOT driving to my satisfaction.

Defective battery

Defective belt

Bald tires

Faulty fuel pump

Rough idle

Slow start

I inquired with several managers of the facility as to their policy regarding inspecting vehicles before purchase. I was shocked as to a vehicle with so many significant unaddressed mechanical issues could be placed for sale. I was never given a forthcoming answer from several managers I spoken to directly or even a return call back from the facility manager.

With today's economic concerns along with the auto industry reporting massively low profitability, I am truly disappointed with my purchase from Palm Beach Toyota and their lack of detail to customer service. Since I currently have several friends and family members in the market for a new vehicle, I have strongly referred them to purchase vehicles from other dealerships in the South Florida area.

Sincerely and truly disappointed

You should 'Google' this- ENGINE SLUDGE, and go to the consumeraffairs website about Toyota Engine Problems and.....

read all of them! I believe that Brittany of Angleton Texas was in an accident with her Toyota Corolla, and she rear-ended a Honda Pilot going about 45 MPH & her AIRBAG did not deploy in her Toyota Corolla! I think she said that her seat-belt didn't function properly too. I think her complaint is under the 'Engine Complaints' on 6-16-2007. Make sure to click on 'Airbags' when you're there and read all of those complaints too! BE SAFE, & SPREAD THIS ALL OVER THE WORLDWIDE WEB! Thank you.
