Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My husband and I finally were able to by him his dream car, a 1973 Chevrolet Nova, in September 2002.

We looked all over southern Colorado for a Nova between the years 1971 and 1974, so naturally we were excited when found the Nova that we did. We made the long drive from Colorado Springs to Peyton Colorado just for the car.

When we got there we were greeted by a decently dressed man. He told us a little about the business and how it was family operated. My husband and I at this time were impressed with the fact that it was family owned.

The gentleman takes us down to the 73 Nova and shows us all of it's components. He proceeds to tell us that the car has a 350 and that it's a great car. We then took it for a test drive. It drove like a dream.

When we get back they tell us that they want $2,100.00 for the vehicle. We thought it was a little steep but it was his dream car so we made the purchase.

A month later we started to have a very big problem with the brakes. We thought it was just because it was an old car so we replaced the brakes. A couple of weeks after replacing the brakes we started to have trouble with some of the engine components.

They started going out one by one. On todays date we have replaced almost every engine component under the hood of that car. When trying to replace several of the components we had diffuculties matching the component with the engine. Eventually we found out that the engine was not a 350 but a 305.

The car was running decent again until this past weekend April 2003 when the car started making a strange noise. Luckily ofr us it happened in our garage because after the strange noise started we turned off the car looked underneath the vehicle and found an extremely large puddle of oil. To our dimay the engine had thrown a rod.

Do not ever buy from Palmer's Horsepower. They are the biggest rip off of them all!
