Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We purchased Roadside Assistance from Paragon Motorclub in March 2015. Before joining we called to make sure they would pay for towing in case of an accident. We were assured they would and they referred us to their website which had a tab called Roadside Assistance. Under this tab their was a list of services checked that their regulare membership and their advanced membership would cover. The advanced membership was an additional fee. Under the regular membership, there was a checkmark by Collision Towing assistance up to 15 miles. The Advanced membership was checked Collision Towing assistance up to 100 miles. We joined at the advanced membership cost. On January 11, 2016 my husband was in a car accident. I called to get the vehicle towed. The girl said that they had towed a couple of vehicles for accidents but as of the past week they no longer towed for accidents. I asked to speak to someone else. The second person was a man who said they had NEVER towed for accidents and it was NOT written anywhere that they would. He referred me to their handbook, which I could not get on at the time as I was standing beside the wrecked vehicle on the side of the road. I hung up and the police office called for a tow truck. When I got home I got on the website for Paragon Motorclub, and sure enough, the tab still said Collision Towing Assistance... up to 15 miles...up to 100 miles. I called the man back. He said I was misreading that. He again referred me to the handbook, which you have to download online AFTER you pay for the membership. Yes, the last page of the handbook did say they would not tow for accidents. I asked him if he would consider a collision an accident. He said no. I asked him how he would describe a collision. He could not answer me, he just kept telling me I was misreading the statement "Collision towing assistance." When I told him they were practicing false advertisement and misrepresenting their services he said he would have to talk to their marketing. I was having printer problems and could not print anything yesterday. Today, the very next day after I called, I got my printer fixed and was going to print off the page that stated they would tow in a collision. The website has been changed. It is no longer listed as a service. I am glad for future customers, however, that does not help us when we were told specifically that they would and their website clearly stated that they would. That was why we purchased the more expensive plan, so we could get towed up to 100 miles in case of an accident.
