Paramount Acceptance NOT JUST GOLD'S, NOT JUST UTAH Salt Lake City Utah
Attention everyone!
This company is not just used by Golds but is also used by Peak Fitness of the Carolinas and ABS East Coast ABS Personal Training.
I signed up and paid by Debit draft every month faithfully. I was dumped by my first trainer and thankfully got a great one. The trouble is that my trainer was screwed by the ABS company and quit. So, I quit with her. Not only did they give me the run around when I tried to do the right thing and cancel correctly but they wouldn't let me out of my contract when they were in breech!
They then came up with bogus cancellation charges that I NEVER agreed to in my original agreement. I told them in writing to stop any and all automatic payments from my accounts until I could get this thing straightened out. Not only did they continue to harrass me on the phone while I tried to find legal council, but they recently just drafted $400 out of my bank account WITHOUT my authorization!!!! I'm bringing them up on fraud charges as we speak, but who knows when I may see my money and I have bills to pay! My whole life has been screwed up because of this company and their very suspicious practices.
DO NOT join a gym if they are managed by this company and if you do PAY CASH!
