Same thing happened to us. We have a contract with the company that operated Los Tules. Story is that Royal-Holiday acquired this company and that they were defrauded by that company. Royal-Holiday are refusing to honor the number of years on our agreements that we paid for! Firts they should honor the agreements of the companies that they acquire; if that is not possible (hard to imagine) they should refund our money on a pro rata basis. This is illegal!

I've spent a lot of money and i was scammed by other companies trying to cancel my timeshare. My advice is that if you're going to hire a company to help you with the problem, DO NOT PAY ANYTHING UPFRONT, because it use to be a fraud. I did a research on internet and i found some interesting articles, i recommend you to read this one:

Of course that is illegal, and Royal Holiday is a fraudulent company,as well as Los Tules. Don't let them get away with it, report this to the Federal Trade Commission and to PROFECO (Mexico's consumer protection agency), and file your complaint EVERYWHERE. I also recommend you to read these articles from Mexican Timeshare Solutions on how to legally get out of a timeshare scam:
