I recently called Pars Cars interested in a car I saw listed on AutoTrader.com, however it didn't list a price or mileage. I went to their website ParsCarsales.com and saw the car again and a tag that said "Call For Price". I did so and the first question I got was cash or financing, I said I'd have to know the price first but if I needed to finance I'd use my Credit Union. I was told a manager would call me back, naturally no one ever did. I called again and asked to speak to a manager and was told none were available, so I just asked for a price on the car I was interested in. I was told sales people didn't have access to pricing only managers did. 3rd call and a wait of about 15 minutes I guess it was a manager I spoke to, he told me they could not give out prices over the phone. I told the person that their web site says "Call For Price" and I wasn't going to drive 100 miles to get a price, that makes no sense. I said I'd look else where, he said "hold on I don't want to lose a sale over price". I replied "how can you, you won't give me a price to work with". Moral of the story I believe them to be a shady group, obviously they want you face to face to apply pressure. Avoid at all costs.
