Hello,
I am replying to your comment indicating the consumer is at fault when the billing department billed the claims incorrectly. What you said is totally incorrect! Once the patient gives their card or cards to the provider it is the provider's responsiblity to ensure they bill the claims correctly. I work in this field where members constantly call concerning claims being denied. I speak with the provider's billing department everyday about billing with the incorrect ID card or input the incorrect member id number. Please do not make statements you have no knowledge about...

It seems that mant people do not understand how health insurance works. The people you should be mad at are your TWO insurance companies for not covering your visit expenses. It ISN'T the clinic's fault that your insurance decided not to cover whatever they didn't want to cover. Be irate with BCBS and MEDICARE, not the people that provided you the services. Many people do NOT have a clue how insurance works. Your anger is misdirected.

I go to pt first and i pay my co payment and then i will get a bill from them for more money that they say i owe. they do this alot and i cant see how anyone makes these many mistakes in billing. i have thought of changing them , as this gets old.
