My husband and I sought immigration assistance with the Patrick & Qureshi, PLLC An Immigration & Veteran Law Firm on 9/24/2015. We spoke with Mr. Nasir Qureshi and discussed our needs. He stated that he could assist with filing of requisite immigration forms and said that the total cost for these service is $6,000.00.
Mr. Quresh stated that for a down payment of $3,000.00 he could start the paperwork. The $3,000.00 down payment was paid and receipt No. 370987 for the amount of $3,000.00 was issued on 9/24/2015. To start the paperwork passport photos were required.
We scheduled a second meeting for Friday 9/25/2015 with the Law Firm's receptionist on Thursday 9/24/2015. A appointment was set for 12:00 pm and was rescheduled to 1:00 pm for the same day. On the way to the law firm the receptionist called to inform us that Mr. Qureshi was not going to be able to make the appointment due to an extended stay in court.
A new appointment was made for Tuesday 9/29/2015 for 12:00 pm. On arrival at the office the receptionist again stated that no attorneys were available again.
Since the attoneys did not have the time to meet with us we requested a refund. The receptionist stated that she would request the attorney to call but no calls came. We instead called the firm several times before someone picked up the phone. On discussion with Mr. Qureshi he stated that no appointment were made because the appoinment was not made by him; essentially he is saying that the receptionist cannot make appointments.
Would you please assist with obtaining our refund.

Ms. Sarah's complaint is FRIVOLOUS. On the contrary, we have over 40 positive verified five stars reviews from our clients on the web. Ms. Sarah raised frivolous allegations. Our firm is ranked #1 immigration law firm in Houston and has been awarded Best of 2015 in the nation. Our law firm works hard around the clock and has been regarded by many clients as such.
ALL OUR CLIENTS ARE SO HAPPY. SPECIFICALLY, ABOUT OUR 24 HOURS A DAY CLIENTS' PERSONALIZED SUPPORT SERVICES.
This is a tactic of Ms. Sarah to get a refund from our firm that she and her family is not entitled to. If our firm provides a refund to Ms. Sarah it would be as our firm has worked for free while our law firm has incurred cost for rendering services and billable hours to work on their case. Meanwhile, when our firm accepted Ms. Sarah's case, at the same time we loss the opportunity of taking another case.
Ms. Sarah and her husband came to our office and spoke with Mr. Qureshi and with Mr. Patrick (who became available over the phone returning from court). Attorney Patrick advised Ms. Sarah and her husband about their case. Attorney Patrick gave them information, which Mr. Qureshi explained to Ms. Sarah and to her husband until attorney Patrick arrived at our office to meet with Ms. Sarah and her husband.
Upon arrival of attorney Patrick to the office, Ms. Sarah and her husband met with attorney Patrick. Mr. Qureshi immediately left the office to go out of town. Ms. Sarah paid partial payment as a down payment to attorney Patirck. Attorney Patrick issued Ms. Sarah a payment receipt and re-explained her the startegy of her case, crucial information, law research, and provided a list of documents.
Immediately after Ms. Sarah and her husband left our office. Our firm started working on their case. Ms. Sarah was advised to return to office next day with 2 passport size photographs for her and her husband.
We even informed Ms. Sarah as we explained her at the begining that she DOES NOT need an appointment with an attorney just to drop 2 passport size photographs. She could do that anytime with our staff during our office hours. But Ms. Sarah didnt do that. Instead, she continued to call requesting an appointment when there was no need for an appointment.
A day after Ms. Sarah started requesting for a refund claiming that a lawyer was not avaiable to receive 2 passport photographs.
We found Ms. Sarah's frivolous request for refund to be very odd and suspicious. That our office that has been ranked #1 immigration law firm and Best of 2015 in the nation with so many positive verified reviews. And our office that is known to provide excellent client personlized services and support around the clock. How our firm did not do that ONLY for Ms. Sarah?
Upon meeting with Ms. Sarah and her father, we came to a suspicison and a conclusion that Ms. Sarah's father was behind all these frivolous allegations just trying to get a refund for services that has been rendered to them already. All frivolous complaints Ms. Sarah and her father raised we answered and entertained them, yet they wanted a refund. We are of the suspcision that once we exactly informed Ms. Sarah and her husband what to do and what law to apply and to how we are going to proceeed. We suspect that now they want to do themselves or get a cheaper attorney. Therefore, they raised some frivolous allegations just to get refund.
