In March of 2008 I contracted with this person to install Carpet, Tile, Appliances , counter tops, fixtures, toilets, sinks, etc. The job kept having delays. First I'm told the carpet was defective and was sent back, the delay was the fault of the carpet company. Then the appliances were damaged and returned.
It's now the end of June and I have no carpet, no appliances, and the home has been sitting empty, unrentable, and un-salable. A job that should have taken a week has gone on for months and now I can't get a response.
Last month he claimed to have gone to the hosptial and now has legal and fianancial issues and is "sorry". I doubt the whole series of events now and am considering reporting him to the police. He got paid in full and disappeared.

This guy was highly recommended by ServiceMagic and still was long after bankruptcy and bailing out on the job. I would not trust Service Magic's recommendations.
