PayTech was fine until I signed on the dotted line. After my first payment came out, every payment thereafter was not the amount stated in the contract which was $49.95/month. Sometimes they would take out 66.00, 78.00, 105.00 or 180.00. They would just make it up as they went along. Most conversations with them about this, ended up in an argument, they usually play dumb, go around in circles with their lies and they try to turn the problem on you; saying things like "you must of miscalculated". When they would book a "meeting" with you on the phone, they would never phone; always an excuse and then they would turn it on you, making it look like it was your fault all along, and giving their absence a reason for your file to go to collections.

Once they started taking out the wrong amounts out of my account, I started to get NSF charges, and when you NSF, they will then, just start withdrawing obscure amounts out of your account daily, creating more NSF charges and a very viscous circle. My charges totalled $700.00 which I will never see again, and in which I had to borrow from a friend. My bank did start to notice what was going on, however, did not exempt me from the NSF charges, but did tell me to close my account and send the machine back.

When I did this, paytech started making threats; daily. I would recieve emails and phone calls from an made up source, in my case "the credit bureau" was calling in regards to my account in collections. A lawyer told me this was a scam, as the credit bureau can not collect money. I don't really know how they get away with this? Isn't this inpersonation. I really do hope they go to jail!. On email they would lie and say your account hasn't gone to collections, I put it on hold. Meanwhile, you'd get calls stating it was collections. All a lie! Eventually I started getting more threats via email stating they were going to send it to collections if I didn't cmply to all their rules. But first, before my account went to so called collections, when the threats first started, they told me to phone on a certain day and at a certain time, when I did this and questioned them why they it was because I had a portable machine and that is why I got outlandish payments. They said an ammendment would be drawn up and a new machine sent out. That didn't happen either!

So I started calling lawyers and getting advice, a few smart ones said this was a scam and don't give them any money, let them serve you first. So that is what I did, but they served me via fax machine without a court order and again pretending to be another collection agency.

 

I wish they would stop harrassing me every two days with emails and phone calls from pretend, deceiving sources.

The best advice I can give is chanllenge them on everything they say and do, so they know your onto them, I am hoping eventually they will leave me alone.

I hope i get compensated for my finacial loss and for what I have been through with them.
