I am an ebay seller for 6 months and used paypal to accept all the payment i recive from my customers. I have never been involved in any fraud and my customers were 100% satisfied with my products and services. Few days ago I made a sale ~$2950, few hours later i could not acess my account (it was limited by PayPal).

I called immediatly to check if there is a mistake and at the same time verified my account even more by adding another bank account to my file. They told me that my account is limited because it is linked to "ANOTHER" account.

I asked what do you mean anoter account? they answered a @yahoo.com account. I told them that i have no idea who would be linked to my account if i dont have complete info (@yahoo.com would not help because there are millions of emails that end with yahoo.com and i am one of them) but they would not tell me. I asked them if i am myself have to investigate the linked account and Caroline (one of the reps) told me yes.

I askd for a supervisor (Scott) and he told me that I have no other way than contacting this other linked account and resolve its issue.

Yesturday (9-22-04) I figuered out the problem. My cousin who has a paypal account (not sure whats the deal) accessed his account thru my netword manytimes which link his account to mine ONLY BY IP. That is the only connection i have with him and nothing else. Why i am responsible for my cousins account? id that an ethical business manner?. I still tried to convice my cousin to resolve his issue with paypal so i can get my money but he rejected and hve expalined that paypal has ripped him off and he is not willing to pay back.

The last word i got from them is that they will close my account if i dont get my cousin to pay and told me that my money wond be accessable anymore. I am soo upset and very confused and dont have anybody to help me with this issue.

I am a grad student and my wife and 4 kids live off ebay and those $3000 are the only money i have to purchase my merchandise to resell. I hope you guys dont get into this kind of situation, i feel helpless specially that ii can afford a lawyer to take care of this. Than you for reading

Few days ago got a phone call from my sister telling me that she found my name listed under this website. I came and found that my information is listen under a false report. I DONT KNOW WHO DID IT AND DONT CARE WHO DID IT. I contatced the owner of this website (ripoffreport.com) and he told me that he is not willing to remove anything EVEN a false report. I will be soon contacting the Arizona state officials on the matter. He did sound careless but i will hold him reponsible for any risks my family or I go thru by listing a false report under my name. Thru this message i asked you Mr. M to remove the report and end this mess. I have a very good relationship with paypal and my business is blooming with them. Thank you

Zahran, sounds like your cousin took money from Ebay. Now, Ebay is taking your money to make it right. Hmmm....sounds like your cousin definitely needs a lesson in family relations. Leave Ebay out of the loop on this one. Sign your cousin in as the rip-off in this deal. For others reading this, guard your computer carefully. This gives a whole new light to checking on a current sale in progress from a computer other than your own. Like a work computer, for example.
