PC Tools PC Doctor Unauthorized deductions, Internet
I purchased pctools Internet protection last year and wanted to tryout their services to compare with others. Therefore, I just subscribed for a year. Last October, they wrote to me signaling auto deduct on my credit card. In reply, I reminded them, I am just going for one year and once it expired, that's it. To confirm that, I re unsubscribed my subscription through the Internet and wrote them of my action. Unfortunately, they go ahead and deduct my account. Well, I tried to contact them with no luck. There was no phone numbers, no contact numbers, and no physical address. In fact, they remove their service and not returning my money for renewal that had been deducted from my account.
I tried to get my money back, but they forcefully forced their way by not returning my money. I am writing this report because I cannot contact them, and they were dishonest with this business. One of the things I wanted to warn anyone of buying that service is the capability of this program to do its job right. If you scan for virus, it demolishes all the files, unlike the other company of just keep your files clean, and do its job right.
This is the worst service I ever seen and it ripped off your money. Please stay away from this company and not buy their service, there are plenty of far better company out there like Norton or McaFee. Make sure not to leave your cc for auto deduction. This company is a parasite and do whatever they wish. Keep away, keep away from PC Tools Internet Virus program.
