I am a warranty holder with pwc for over 6 years now. I cant say they have covered every penny of every claim. I can say they have been fair which is why i not only renewed but upgraded for another 3 years of service from them..
Before signing my name to anything, i read it first. This is not a Bumper to Bumper warranty, and states quite clearly it is a Used car reimbursement warranty. They have been in the business for many years, and have paid more than my last warranty on my last car.
There was so many different contracts for me the concumer to choose from. So i looked into each of them and chose the contract that best suited my needs, and car coverge. I am a salesman who depends on my car to make my living. I needed a unlimited milage plan covering a/c and majority of major components that will fail with the use i place on my car.
However misfortunate, the original report says "car failed few days after he purchased it" Is it not more prudent to contact the dealership who sold him the lemon? Should they not be held accounable for their sale of a messed up car? I as a concumer of a used car had my car checked out before i purchased it.
Again i read everything before i sign it, and i dont exspect everything for nothing. I paid for help with repirs, and to dte thats what i have received. In my opinion "The rip off" is exspecting them to pay for your bad purchase choice, your contract choice, and your exspecting much more than you actually paid for. And in closing, honestly how many people go online, or even give compliments for a job well done or a good deed having been done for them? Be more realistic...
