The following is a letter we sent to Pennington Hardwood floors! They are Liers!!!

To: Director of Quality Control,

CC: Bethany Spear, The Better Business Bureau, Consumer Affairs, Ripoffreport.com

To whom it may or may not concern;

We are writing to express our disappointment in the level of service we have received from your company. We took a lot of time and effort trying to find the right company to supply our wood floors. We passed up numerous companies who could not promise the product in the same time frame that was promised by your company. However, we have come to realize that your company is making false promises and conducting business dishonestly. In preparing to place our order we were told in an email, that our product was in stock and would ship the next day. Upon placing the order, we were disappointed when we were told that the product would not be available until the following week. A week later we called and spoke to Bethany Spear who told us that the product had already shipped and would arrive within two days. Two days later no product arrived, so we called back. Again Bethany Spear told us that the product shipped and she would retrieve the tracking number from the freight company and would return our call promptly. Our call was never returned, so we called back the next day. Again we were told that the product had shipped and Bethany assured us she would locate a tracking number and get back to us before the end of the day. We waited for her call but she still never returned our phone call. Again, we called the next day and were told we would be called back. We were not going to wait to be called back this time, so we called again at 4:45 PM that same day . We were then told by Bethany that she had spoken with the freight company and that it was and had been in route, but due to delays with in the freight company, would not arrive for another 5 days. It had already been 2 weeks since the order was placed and a week since it had supposedly shipped. We told her that this was unacceptable and that we wanted to speak to the owner. The owner then told us that he would do his best to try and expedite the delivery, but he again blamed the delay on the freight company. Today we checked the status of the delivery with the freight company, only to find out from the freight company that the order was only just shipped the same day as our conversation with the company owner, and that the order would not be arriving for an additional 3 days. We were continuously lied to by the company representative, Bethany Spear, only to have the owner of the company corroborate her lies. One would think that upon speaking to the owner, that he would want to at least offer to compensate for the delay in shipping, instead he chose to stand by the lies put forth by his company representative. I'm sure that R&L freight would not appreciate that Pennington Hardwoods is placing the blame on them. We do not appreciate false promises, lack of customer support, a general lack of caring for us, the customer, and above all else being lied to. We have had to put contractors on hold. We are living with out a kitchen, as our kitchen has been ripped out in preparation for the installation of the wood floors, and the carpeting in the living room and dining room has also been removed. Our three children are walking around on sub-flooring, as we were told the floors had shipped and would be arriving some time ago. At this point our contractor will have to begin a project for another homeowner and will not be able to complete our job until late July. How are we supposed to live without a kitchen or living room until then??? We are very happy with this contractor as he has a remarkably impeccable reputation to deliver his services in a timely, professional, and artful manner. We thought we were going to receive the same level of service from your company, as your web-site would lead one to believe. Unfortunately we have been gravely disappointed.
