People's Choice Home Improvment LLC, Ryan Schmidt Bounced Pay Check, NSF, No money and owner has new Mercedes Benz too Portland Oregon
People Choice Home Improvement in Portland, OR will not pay you what you are owed. We all took our checks to the bank and all said "NSF." Now if we complain about it or tell anyone, they will fire us.
The sales guys will be next. Next week, only the guys who pressure homeowners to buy right away will get checks, the nice guys, will get an I.O.U.
Good luck People's Choice, the writing is on the wall! Ryan Schmidt spends too much money, buys himself a new car with payroll, and leaves us schlubs out in the rain!
Do not go to work for this guy, it's a matter of time before he takes the last dime and runs away. Just like he did the first time he had his own company!

Better Business Bureau has "F" Rating for People's Choice

The Better Business Bureau gave Ryan's company an F rating. Ryan you can't lie about that now can you! Several dissatisfied customers and they shut off all the phones. Im currently in Contact with the Contractors Board (3 open complaints right now) cause my roof is unfinished and damage has happened to my property from the work performed.

In response to Jeremy's rebuttal about making good on People Choice Home Improvement paychecks, he is full of baloney. Have not been able to cash paychecks issued since May, due to non sufficient funds and have not seen final paychecks on commissions even issued since leaving the company. The Contractors license for People Choice Home Improvement has recently been reinstated so maybe they are catching up on their bills and at one point will have the decency to reimburse their employee's that wrongly had faith in the company and the owners.

There are a few things in here that i would like to clear up as an employee of this company who is proud to work here. Ryan himself is not going to run off with anyones money and has actually been working on roofs himself to help teach our employees the right way to do a job and to help us complete them in a timely fashion. as far as the mercedes goes it is a 1997 mercedes that was gotten so we could turn ryans personal ford f-250 into a roofing truck so we would not have to run out and get a new truck for our growing company. truth be told all we are having right now are growing pains and i guess we have aquired a few haters. the bouncing paychecks though is a true story and was a mistake which was repaired by not only reissuing checks but also paying for every single over draft fee that our employees had as a result of a bounced payroll check. a few more things... not one single person was fired for bringing up the fact that their check bounced and the very thought of that is ridiculous. this company is run by very capable people who care about everyone here. we are a company that has an owner who gets on roofs rain or shine with his employees and a company who admits mistakes and then fixes them. im sorry to whomever posted this report and sad that you have that impression of us. i doubt you are or ever have been an employee of ours or you would know the real scoop here.
