Peoples Credit First FRAUD RIPOFF They lied to me and stole my money!! consumer fraud ripoff screwed many others too Tampa Florida
I received a letter in the mail claiming I was guaranteed to get a Platinum Credit card with a 5000 dollar limit. The price was 45 dollars for processing and 49 dollars for rush processing, I paid the 45 dollars and I sent payment on 08-05-2002, on my online banking it said the check cleared on 08-13-2002, it is not 09-02-2002 and still no card! What a rip off.

I am the accountant for Peoples Credit First. We received your check on 8-12. We have no way of knowing when a check clears. Accounts are automatically put on hold for 13 business days for members that pay by check. The computer released your account on 8-29, your card was printed on 8-30 your package will be mailed today.
