People's Credit First ripoff con-artists took us for all we had Tampa Florida
On 8/27/02 I sent in a $49.00 money order for the People's Credit first Platinum credit card. Of course i had no idea it was for their store it does not state so in the letter i received in the mail.
I called a phone number i found on another rip-off report I found and called it, the lady i spoke with was actually polite and told me they received my $49.00 payment on 8/29/02 and my package would be mailed to me on 9/4/02. I did receive my package and I was told on the phone by the same woman that if I was dissatisfied for any reason to just mail the entire package back and I would receive my full refund.
I decided to send it registered mail with a return receipt requested and I got the green slip that proves the bastards got the package back. Since then I have called 3 times and told on all 3 occasions that a check would be mailed, that the checks were printed wrongly and had to be shipped back, and finally I was hung up on!
Sending in that $49.00 was the biggest mistake I could have bought diapers,an outfit, baby food and formula for my 6 month old son with that money.
I will talk to my lawyer and i will get my money back.
