People's Credit First ripoff consumer fraud Tampa Florida
I was sent a very good print out of a form with the words "You have been Pre Approved" for a 5K credit card. Which I get from time to time I read it but I did not notice a phone number just a address. A red flag should have come up but with out thinking I sent it in on the $49.00 rush option this was in Aug 28. I notice that on 10/04/2002 it had cleared my bank.
Well it has been more then a week and no card. So I did what I should have done in the first place and that was to look them up in the internet. I found out that most honest banks who offer credit cards can be found on the Internet and you can have a ready contact. But what I found to late I may add was that People's Credit First was a fraud. I contacted my bank which is going to investigate and I hope get my money back. Anyways I hope other people will read this and not make the same mistakes I did.
