Pep Boys ripoff the business that doesn't give a dam about there customers N. Richland Hills Texas
I too took my truck to Pep Boys for a diagnostic. (Keep in mind I just installed a new long block)I have learned that i would have been cheaper paying GMC $200.00 for the diagnostic computer then the supposed $69.95 for Pep Boys to do it for me.
Two months after my truck was in for a computer diagnostic on a egr fault. The guy who worked on it stripped the spark plug hole out. After weeks of fighting they agreed to put a new head in the truck.
They however put a remanufactured one in it. There supposed new head had a warp that shattered two pistons on the new block. Then they tried to tell me it was a faulty motor and there was nothing they could do about it.
Agian after several weeks of fighting they agreed to put a new motor in it. Laugh agian!!!!! They put a used one in it which went bad before it left there shop(cam was bad). Now they tell me they are going to put another new one in it.
I still dont have my truck. They still tell me that they are waiting for the new motor to come in. Ha!!!! (ie. I just put one in I know it doesn't take this long to get one five minutes down the road at the chevrolet house that stocks them regularly).
I have been told I should have it back next week.. Agian I laugh!!!!! Well see!!! Oh Ya and did I mention when you try and call corperate all you get is the international call you are dialing can not be made!!!!
