Pep boy's Automotive thieves... Do not get any repairs at this place York, Pennsylvania
Took my vehicle in for a repair, and was told that I needed a serpentine belt replaced, I authorized the repairs, and when I got the vehicle back, the next morning it was making the same noise! I called spoke to a manager, and was told to bring the car back in and all we be taken care of, again when I got the car back , Pep Boys stated that the belt was replaced wrong and the power steering pump oil needed to be filled. All said and done $475 dollars in repairs, the car the next morning was still making the noise even worse at which at that point decided to take the vehicle to the dealer. Dealer stated serpentine belt was not replaced and that the power steering pump needed replaced! $700 in correct repairs! Spoke to Pep Boys and they stated that they would not refund my money for labor and repairs but would give me a credit and apply it to them doing the correct repairs but yet I had to pay an additional $200!!!!
Point is they are non professional mechanics that are stealing from customers. Please do not take your vehicles their, once they have your money they can care less and will replace parts you do not even need!!!
