I was browsing around Facebook in the marketplace section, clicking on rentals to see what is out there when I came across and ad that seemed real appealing. I clicked on it and received a reply from Peter Shvets <[email protected]> (SEE EMAIL CORRESPOND SECTION) he told me that the house was available and that he is listed with Section 8 and as you will read in the correspondence everything just flowed along pretty quickly.

Here is the thing that was the distraction from thinking at the time that this was not real, IT WAS A REAL EMPTY HOUSE. So I drove there saw the house, saw that it was empty, and it seemed like a real deal. My little girl and I drove around the neighborhood looking at the middle school I thought she would be attending, just looking at our soon to be neighbors etc… so that is when I sent the money to secure the place.

Money I was SCAMMED!!(they give you an option to pay an additional two months as well)

Refundable Deposit:$1,525.00

Plus $150

I believe that they are FRAUDUALENTLY promoting his house out as a potential rental and SCAMMING people taking their 1st & last money down payment, without the  INTENT to ever renting this house out to anyone. There are already people complaining about this in Washington State. (See Below)

Here is what happened….

This information that myself and family have taken to quickly put together has taken many hours and I feel blessed to have very knowledgeable people to be able to find this information to HOPEFULLY help someone else not get scammed from these people.

 Ok, before you judge me too much lol! No one has beat themselves up more than myself to get scammed in such a way. I have never in my life been so violated, deceived, lied too and just defrauded in my life.

 The RENTAL SCAM.. I was looking to TRY to move from an apartment to a house and see who would or could work with section 8. Yes, I am on it and have to do what I can to try to take care of my daughter during these tough times. I do work and do what ever I can so enough justification for anyone reading because my main goal with this is to hopefully help someone else to not get scammed.

We were so excited and the smile on my daughters face only drove me more to make this deal happen. So as you read, I sold myself on this dream because seeing the empty house made it seem so real. Some of the windows had no curtains where you could see inside the empty house, the gate to the backyard was open along with shed etc.. I bought into Peters story as you will read that he moved to North Carolina, but I do no believe that is true at the moment. His phone number (828) 572-8573, I believe is what they call a spoof number that is probably forwarded to another number.

You will see in the communication below that I was very eager and once I saw the house it was on to get into it. I answered his request, sent the information he SAID he needed via text or email. You heard of the sales technique of the carrot and the stick. Well he kept the carrot of sending me the keys and paperwork that I needed to send in just in front of me as an incentive for me to send money so he could take the house off the market. At the time it seemed to make sense, so I did everything requested. Once I sent the money to his so called secretary Maria Quintanilla via cash app. At this time I must say I believed all of them worked together.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL HERE! FIRST DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY FOR A RENTAL TO SOMEONE OUT OF STATE. Also, they had an app they wanted me to use called ZELLEPAY, the internet have articles stating that this has been used to wipe out peoples bank account.

Ok back to the story, you will see below in the TEXT CORRESPONDANCE section that Peter sent an email requesting more money for the UTILITIES and FEDEX. Being short on money, I told him that the utilities are premature because the house needs to get approved first, but I will send $150. Once that was sent, I know this may be funny but I had a funny feeling that this was a scam and so you will see that I asked for my money back and I tried to get refunds via cash app which Maria declined.

Once I did all that all communication ceased…

Lessons learned:

INFO ON PETER SHVETS

 

Potential Aliases: Peter Shvets,Petr Shvets, Petr G Shvets, Petr Shvetz, Peter G Shvets, Dennis Postlewait, Steven Postlewait, Diana Postlewait, Dana Postlewait, Jeffrey Postlewait

I have some relatives that are decent researchers and here is some information I discovered with just looking into it. You will notice that they have bought a number of properties just in the last couple of years totaling well over a million of dollars.

 

It seems like PETER SHVETS, ALLEGADLY has some WHITE COLLOR criminal associates. First off he has so many ALISAS there are to many to name off(See Below for Peter Info). You can see them below. It seems after TATYANA SHVETS( US v SHVETS Case No. 2:12-CR-0322, got charged back in 2012 (see below, information on the charge) they moved up to the Pacific Northwest after she was sentenced. I am not sure if she went to prison or probation. I only put this info together in a few days. There is some info that shows a hearing going back to 2019. The case lasted a long time. Peter seems to be a computer guy with jobs at paypal, but also seems to like buys real estate over the years. I think their scamming brings in a lot of money for he and his partners and so they buy property a lot to WASH the money. This is just A THEORY, I am not a legal professional but as I was going through information it did seem like a trend. You can see real estate information below.

Here is something that was discovered in our research, that the very house I was trying to rent from him. He did actually own along with Tatyana Shvets. Then just last year in 2019, he transferred the property we were going to rent into an LLC. The name of the company is EMERALD PENTAL REALTY LLC, you will see connection there. He has two other people on the LLC Tatyana and someone called YEVGENIY SHVETS. The address listed for their business with the state of Washington is the city of Sammamish.

I say all this to say, I believe that they are FRAUDUALENTLY promoting his house out as a potential rental and SCAMMING people taking their 1st & last money down payment, without the  INTENT to ever renting this house out to anyone. There are already people complaining about this in Washington State. (See Below)

I am not sure the relation Maria has to Peter but if they had anything in common it could be the number of aliases. She has a bunch as well. She lives in Miami, Florida. She promotes herself as a Coach for Herbalife. You can see in her facebook, Instagram, and tik tok that she likes to dance and if you give her a chance she will dance away with your money as well.

 Having this home would be an incredible blessing. It is the perfect size for my family. And exactly what I envisioned when I started looking for a home.  For now, the 3rd bedroom would most likely be an office as I have days where I sometimes work on marketing from home.  

 I am pretty low key, I love to (hobbies) and spend time with the family. My typical evening is relaxing to Netflix or amazon movies with the family. Being a mother in my (age), I am not into the party scene. 

 I can also ensure that rent will be paid on time and consistently. One great thing for a landlord is Section 8 will pay you directly like clock-work every month at the same time. My portion of the rent currently is around $200 a month. Then section 8 pays the other 1325.00 every month directly to you. I can promise that rent,(my portion and section 8) will be paid to you on-time, every month. I am prepared to pay you first and last month's rent out of my pocket. 

 We currently have no pets. And have no official plans on getting one. Although maybe for the distant future ..would a small dog such as a yorkie or terrier allowed?
