Accidents, typically, will not show up on a Carfax / AutoCheck report unless the police were called.  If one hits a tree, but simply drives home and then reports the incident to their insurance company, there will be no record of the incident attached to the VIN.  That is not to say that any of the alleged accidents did or didn't happen, but rather that the Carfax doesn't prove anything either way.  That said, your company has at two reports on this website regarding hidden accident damage, so the allegation here does not seem implausible.
