I bought my Daughter a Book for her College Class and this Company has ripped me off. They will not return email's, they will not return phone messages, and their address is nothing more then a rented postal box from the Super Postal Center. This center has said that others have called looking for these CONS, and something needs to be done. I've called and gave complaints to everyone I could think of, and I even called the local TV news reporting agency down there so the word can get out !!

If your reading this then it's probably to late for you, just like it was to late for me, but we can all make a difference.

I would like to once again apologize for the slow response you have received from our customer service department. We have experienced some technical issues that prevented some orders from getting shipped out in a timely manner. We have since fixed those issue, unfortunately, these issues have created a backlog of customer emails that we are working very hard to answer. We have brought in additional personnel to help us address this. I will be happy to assist anyone personally in any way that I can to resolve their situation. I would like to state that Phat Campus is a legitimate company that is making every effort to address each and every customer's needs. I continued to call & Email Phatcampus.com and know one ever got back to me. I filed a report with the BBB, States Attorney's Office, and even submitted info to all the News Agencies in the Boca area. I also complained to the Super Postal Center about how this company was ripping us off, and using them as a Postal address, and also calling their mail box number a SUITE. Here is his (Super Postal Center Owners) reply to me: ****I am sorry that you are experiencing service issues with a company that rents a Private Mail Box from our business. As I'm sure our employee informed you, Super Postal Center merely provides a mail receiving service for our customers. Our customers are not affiliated with us, nor do they operate their businesses at our location. The company that you referred to has been renting a PMB from us for several years. Until recently, we have never had a single complaint. However, your complaint is about the 3rd one that we have received recently (we don't keep track of the calls, so I'm only estimating). Even though we are in no position to assist consumers such as yourself, answering the calls and fielding the complaints is very time consuming. Our PMB monthly rental fees average about $15, which I assure you does not compensate us for the time involved with handling these calls. As promised, we will put a copy of your email into PMB #186 (it is important to note that PMB's should not be called suites, and all of our renters are aware of this). The last person we did this for sent me a follow-up email that their problem with the company was resolved. However, I believe that their problem got resolved before the company even retrieved the email that we placed in their mailbox. I did speak to a representative of the company a few weeks ago, and I expressed my concern for the calls and complaints we have been receiving. He assured me that they have a Customer Service department that should be handling these issues, and they should not escalate to the point of my receiving complaints from their customers. Since we have not had any problems with this company over the past several years, I accepted his explanation that perhaps their Customer Service Department was not doing it's job and his assurances that he would look into the problem. Clearly, if the calls and complaints continue to come, we will be forced to terminate their services at Super Postal Center. Here is his email address: [email protected] Here is what he emailed me: Mr. Vangel, It is my understanding that you have been unable to successfully get in touch with our customer service staff. I apologize for this, we have been overwhelmed with emails and are in the process of responding as quickly as possible. In regards to your order, it was found to be out of stock at the time of fulfillment and a refund has now been issued. It may come across in two parts. The shipping amount was refunded on Saturday and the textbook amount was refunded yesterday. The total of both transactions should equal your total charged amount. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. I can assure you that we are working very hard to assist every customer that has contacted us. Please let me know if you need any additional information. But please help your fellow students out and let everyone at your college know about how this company operates. Make up flyers and post them around your campus, book stores or anywhere you can think of. If you frequent any forums on the internet then get the word out that way. I am a member of a few internet forums and as you know,.....the internet is a powerful mechanism. Also start a chain email : ) Chain emails are also very powerful, and 100's of thousands of people can be reached in a short amount of time. PHATCAMPUS needs to be put out business !!!!!
