What is going on around here? I have been very very busy and now have some business to conduct and find I can't use the service that I have paid for and have almost all of my membership left. I paid for the 30 dollar membership in late August and have only used it a few times. I used it when it was a free service and had no problem paying the service as long as it was still available to me when I needed it.
This is just wrong. Morally and business wise wrong. I can not imagine taking someones hard earned money KNOWING business was not going well and that it was going to close down with NO notice or emails to anyone. Why is it that we have no website that is keeping us up-to-date on what is going on, a place to check in on so we don't all feel like fish out of water not knowing what is going on.
This is about the money with me. I do not have 30 bucks to just give a company that had its hand out right to the very last minute. Now what happens? Am I just screwed or do I at least get my money back? Photopoint did not hold up its end of the contract that we were bound to sign before accepting THEIR conditions. Did another company take over and are going to pick up all the pieces?
This is all new to me since I JUST found out I could not get into my albums and that none of the websites work anymore. Since I am on webtv....does anyone know what options I have to find a place for my picures?? That is pretty much the main reason I went with Photopoint in the first place. It was easy to use with webtv and I was familiar with it. I don't appreciate being screwed out of my hard earned money for any reason and I sure don't appreciate the cowardly manner in how this all took place.
