I am also the victim of the rampant corruption within the government in Placer County, CA. While District Attorney Bradford R. Fenocchio did not personally prosecute my case, one of his assistant D.A.'s did.

Christoper Cattran was the A.D.A. who prosecuted my case and he repeatedly withheld evidence from my attorney and I claiming that he did not have the evidence. The evidence was taken my the Placer County Sheriff (Deputy John Riella) with a search warrant at the end of March, 2009 and was not provided to my attorney despite repeated discovery motions until right before the trial began in mid-September, 2009. Not all of the evidence was ever provided.

Furthermore, my attorney filed several discover motions for documents which were quashed by Judge Nichols. My attorney also filed a motion for sanctions against Mr. Cattran due to his refusal to turn over evidence in a timely manner. This motion was also quashed by Judge Nichols.

At trial, Judge Larry Gaddis made two different rulings with respect to evidence which severely limited my defense.

I was unable to afford to hire an attorney and received inadequate representation from the Placer County Public Defender. The Placer County has "outsourced" the Public Defender function to a for-profit law firm to "save money" at the expense of the quality of the defense provided to their clients.

For at least fifteen months the (for-profit, outsourced) Placer County Public Defender repeatedly refused to pursue a legal defense strategy which involved attacking civil law as a defense of criminal charges. I was told (a) our contract with Placer County won't allow us to do so, and/or (b) our legal malpractice insurance won't allow us to do so. I was told this by Jonathan Richter, the Chief Public Defender for Placer County.

Long story short, Placer County government is corrupt from top-to-bottom and from left-to-right and Bradford R. Fenocchio is the guy who manages the charge stacking, plea bargaining, convict them somehow, some way district attorney's office.

Sheriff Edward Bonner and corrupt deputies like John Riella will due anything, include obtain search warrants by committing perjury, commit perjury on the witness stand, etc.

In Placer County, it's not equal treatment under the law for one and all, it's selective enforcement and persecution that rules...
