PlaceSettings.com $1,500.00 RIPP-OFF Matthews North Carolina
On September 17,2007 I ordered Villeroy & Boch 40 pc. Place Set/Service for 8 with cereal bowls also the 6 pc completer set for $475.00. I already own 4 place settings and was looking to complete service for 12. the total came to $1,579.50. The order # is 28111. I called several times and like so many before me got the answering machine. I wrote e-mails and was told that my order was a discontinued patterned and that it was coming from Holland and that they would advise me when it arrived. I have heard nothing all these months.
I would like to have my money back. I don't understand how these people are allowed to get away with this time and time again. I would call this organized theft! Can someone please advise me what my rights are? I see that they conveniently have added to their website that they don't carry discontinued china patterns but that should not have an effect on me. They should just return my money!!!
