Plainville Farms LLC Very unprofessional and Risky company Plainville New York
This company puts my health in danger by hiring illegal immigrants. Who knows what they're carrying? They hire cons, which is fine, everyone has the right to a second chance, but there are drugs all over the place there, being bought AND dealt (on the property). USDA guy doesn't really do his job, sitting in the office all day, coming out occasionally to make sexual innuendos to the workers there. The 2nd shift boss there threatens employees, and treats them like dirt. He cuts there hours. He retaliates against employees and degrades them.
I've seen people drop meat on the floor, pick it up and put it back in the trays to send it through the machine.
When you get hurt, as you fill out an accident report, the team leader stands over you trying to tell you how it happened, even though he doesn't have a clue, and is just trying to cover himself up.
They promise promotions but never go through with them.
Overall, a very degrading, disgusting place to work for. Very hard to get out with the economy so bad. I really wish I didn't work there still.
