Planes Moving & Storage Worst move ever plenty of damage to furniture West Chester Ohio
Had a move by Planes which was a local move and quite costly. They did a decent job of packing boxes with a few things damaged. The crew was very nice.
Almost all my furniture was removed from the house without a cover or wrap. I assumed they were doing that in the truck since I heard they were a good moving company. I was wrong. About half my furniture was damaged beyond scratches. I actually cried when I looked over all the furniture and saw the damage that would not have occured had they been covered.
Claims department was terrible. A few minor repairs were made but never heard anything back. Weeks later they said they weren't paying for anything that was damaged. I had the insurance but that only covers repairs if the movers did nothing wrong in packing or covering/protecting the furniture.
I always took great care of my furniture and wish I had never moved because of the damage I am left with. As the other reviewer said DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN TO AVOID PLANES. My friends moved recently with 2 men and a truck and had no damage.
