PlasmaNet,Inc. Freelotto rip-off! Did not pay my winnings and no reply when sending email. New York New York
On May 23, 2004 I won $1.00 from Freelotto. I dutifully submitted my "TSN" number, as well as forwarded a copy of my winning confirmation email and my Freelotto user details on May 27, 2004 (well within the 30-day time frame required).
On May 27, 2004 I received a message from Freelotto congratulating me on my winnings and asking me if I wanted to donate the $1.00 to charity or receive a check. I clicked on the link to receive a check and received a confirmation that I would be receiving my winnings soon.
On June 23, 2004 I sent a message to [email protected] asking why I hadn't received my check and got no reply. I sent a nother message on July 7, 2004 asking why I hadn't received my winnings and again got no reply.
So, I submitted the claim again and was told that the TSN number was invalid. Thankfully, I kept a copy of my confirmation emails from Freelotto and responded that indeed I was submitting a valid claim. Then they responded saying the claim had already been processed (that was on July 9, 2004).
On July 12, 2004 I again sent a message to [email protected] stating the problem I was having getting a response or a check for my winnings, but have not received a response yet and it is August 25, 2004.
It really isn't the $1.00 that matters it's the point. The lack of response to my emails and the fact that they make you jump through so many hoops to claim your winnings is troubling. Freelotto never used to be that way. I used to win $1.00 winnings and receive checks quite frequently before the TSN number thing.
If this company is making money off of me by selling my name and email address and making me go through so much to get a $1.00, then they should step up and do their part as well.
