Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Plastick Media cost our entity tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars due to several, provable missed opportunities by their withholding opportunities, such as interested publishers, media outlets, and other business opportunites, by allowing our website to crash on two or more occasions, and by other purposeful, documented actions contributing to a direct loss of revenues. The website crashes occurred during peak visitor traffic and for several hours at a time. Plastick Media created new passwords on our accounts, then withheld those passwords from us. We had to do an all-night audit of our entire profile and hire an outside computer firm to assist us in retrieving passwords to our accounts so we could regain control over our WordPress account, our hosting, the Twitter, FB, and other social media that they kept hostage from us by not giving us our passwords. Plastick Media harassed the members of our company by making email threats and verbally via telephone. Plastick Media's several alleged breaches of contract include, but are not limited to:  1) Plastick Media failed to assist our company in setting up Google AdSense on our site, and this was contractually promised to us. We made email requests to Plastick Media to set up Google Ads on our website in November 2012. We have documented proof of this and several subsequent requests. When our website traffic had well over a million hits within 3 hours, our company would have received thousands and thousands of ad revenued, except that Plastick Media refused to set up ads on our website, and also refused to pass along the names and phone numbers of companies wanting to partner and advertise with us. 2) Plastick Media failed to provide our company with organic traffic and other exact-promised numbers of organic visitors and followers. When Plastick demanded we pay them, we replied that they did not meet the organically, correctly achieved numbers, They replied the next day that we should "re-check" the numbers, which they made grow incorrectly and inorganically to hit the promised target overnight. That is underhanded business practices and Plastick Media did not deliver organic and correct traffic as they had contractually promised. 3) Plastic Media failed to deliver any SEO optimization, as contractually promised.  4) Plastick Media failed to enter, not just "optimal Key Words," but they failed to enter ANY keywords in the blogs and videos they uploaded to WordPress on our behalf. We had to go in and painstakenly add Key Words to each and every blog and post after we stopped working with them. 4) Plastick Media failed to send us several media opportunities and threatened via email to tell potential clients that we were not interested in working with them.

The most aggregious act by Plastick Media was the bullying and harassment by Plastick Media of and at our 16 year old child. They caused irreparable harm to her and to all of the members of our company by not completing their work, by continually promising to complete certain tasks, then when asked if the tasks were completed, Plastick continued to not get the work done or to complain about the long length of time needed to complete tasks. After Plastick Media stopped work for our company, we found that Plastick Media lied about the length of time to complete simple tasks, such as setting up compamy emails, keyword searching blogs, and various other tasks that they promised contractully to do for our compnay, but did not do.

We are a company whose focus is to build to become a great entity. We work excessively hard and are professional, honest, and right-minded. We are happy to share the specifics of this Report with anyone considering hiring Plastick Media. It is impossible to believe that bad people like this can actually run a business off the goodness of hard working people like us and actually get away with it.

Unfounded claims - I've had nothing but good experiences with Plastick

I was googling Plastick Media to write a recommendation about them when I noticed this unfortunate posting. I am a former client of Plastick Media and have contracted them for half a dozen projects in the last 3 years. Additionally, I have referred at least 4 fellow small business owners to them, all of whom had raving reviews about this team and its deliverables. I had to speak up because it makes me so sad when good businesses are trolled online by one individual without other customer experiences registered alongside it.

Tori Kyes was my primary contact and I worked closely with the rest of the team. From the first meeting, she was nothing but kind, passionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping my business succeed, which I appreciated tremendously.

I will mention that I am a marketing specialist myself, but don't market my own side projects for a number of reasons. So I am very discerning about who I hire to set up and promote my own side projects, which is why I hired Plastick. Additionally, I have an insider view on the nature of marketing activities and can speak to some of the claims mentioned here.

So in the interest of fairness, here is another client perspective about this comapny and its leadership.

I contracted Plastick Media to set up a website and social media profiles for my blog launches. They helped me set up and run all hosting, templates, and social media profiles. For one of my projects, I already had an existing website with hosting and it was very clear that i was responsible for the hosting for the sites I set up myself, per the scope of our contract. Tech project scopes can be complicated and it was beneficial to have a clear discussion about what I am responsible for and what they were repsonsible for.

Funny enough, I had a similar incident where the promotional efforts by Plastick sent a ton of traffic to my site.

Where I come from, a lot of traffic is actually a good thing.

That means the marketing is working like a charm. In that instance, I was expecting that a lot of website visitors were coming my way, based on the timelines of the promos, and I was able to increase my hosting with Go Daddy to prevent the site from being taken down. Because the scope of this project specified that I was responsible for hosting, I knew it was my responsibility to address it.

I felt completely comfortable with Plastick keeping my passwords and login information because it is clearly stated in the contract that they transfer that information upon full payment of the project. Each time, we completed a project and I received my info promptly after I made the final payment. The same was true for the other clients I have referred to Plastick, as that is the protocol for most tech companies. I suspect this former client didn't pay the full amount and tried to re-interpret the contract after it was signed? Or maybe they stopped payment and still expected the work to be done? Obviously I don't know the details of that project but can only speak to the high integrity of Tori and her team and this post sounds like a hyperbolized misunderstanding.

Either way, in my case, Plastick acheived each deliverable on or before deadline every single time. Additionally, they were available to me for questions and were always courteous and professional.

I am very picky about working with teams that have utmost integrity and this is a company that does, indeed, have a high level of integrity, professionalism, and dedication to their clients.
