Platinum Benefit Group Private Voice Collection Theft from bank account / Fraudulent representation / credit card fraud / phone scam Clearwater Florida
I answered an unprompted phone call in april 2006 and at the end of the phone call received a credit card, which had very high monthly fees. I ended up paying 150$ to cancel the credit card. At that time I was not informed there there will be continued ongoing deductions from my bank account.
Over the last 9 years I have had a total of 1264$ stolen from my bank account as a consequence, without my authorization. I was not given any information about contacting the company to cancel these transactions. The company is called Platinum Benefit Group but were deducting money from my account under the name Private Voice Collection , masquerading as a phone company.
I had to do some forensic banking , where my bank called the routing bank to be able to stop these monthly draining charges.
I ended up losing 1264$ over a 9 year period as a conseqence of answering my cell phone.
