I approached Platinum in the early 90's with the intention of acting as a producer for a documentary to be aired on channel 4. It became apparent quite quickly that the individual mentioned, well Terry, although on the surface was a charming educated and privileged man to his discredit maintained highly questionable morals.
Upon presenting a pitch. it was advised that the subjects of said documentary could be monitored, which essentially is a invasion of privacy. It became clear that Terry intended to utilise his connections, to flout the law, thus obtaining, illegal surveillance without recrimination in addition to employing a number of subversive tactics, which to some might consitute willful endangerment. We are all fully aware as producers, the efforts necessary in pursuit of a story and yet without a shadow of a doubt, I can confirm that Mr Kelleher has abused his position on many occasion in search of profit.
When the company officially closed, a number of rumors began to surface and Terry was up to his old tricks again.
I hazard a guess that the responses, as they have been so frequent are at his bequest and shall emplore any persons in contact with this or any other of his companies to take heed.
As I am certain of his inability to produce ethically, I am of his ability to continue in pursuit of greed, albeit under some form of assumed identity (which is commonplace). Take note and take care.

I dont know if people who write here need to demonstrate any proof of their wild allegations - it would appear not. My comments about Terry Kelleher are based on several years of making programmes with him - real programmes on real TV channels such as Channel 4 and BBC 2. Both Terry and I are very "google-able" as proven programme makers. I'm astonished at someone trying to undermine my genuine experience with him - he's a talented film-maker of great professionalism and integrity - by trying to smear me. I have no connection with animations or competitions, I've never had any conversations with anyone about such things at Channel 4 or elsewhere. So either you're confusing me with someone else or you're blatantly lying. Deborah Davies London 21 April 2009

Ah yes Deborah, A client of ours contacted the named individual in 2001 with regard to entering an animation competition regularly organized by channel 4 in the uk. After conversing briefly with Davies, who was hostile and extremely unrepresentative of a generally well oiled company, the individual whom we represent found his net access hacked with the intention of farming his work to industry professionals, and yes, documented proof exists. For Ms Davies to remotely suggest professionalism when dealing with renowned industry hacks such as Kelleher and Cook is unfortunately laughable. Furthermore, we have noticed that prior to the cesation of Platinum film and Tv from 1998 to 2006, we via google archives were not able to locate one single mention of the company other than listings, not one single credit for their productions or representatives of the company. However, since the unfortunate demise of Mr Kelleher, we see smatterings of 'unseen' work appearing on the global web. Surely a company would utilize the net to promote their work whilst in production and not upon liquidation, which is of course a ludicrous pursuit. Our eyes and eyes are upon the individuals of Platinum and their associates. Action, will naturally commence, as their arrogance unfortunately, although widespread, does not allow impunity. They are indeed not below the law...............

I'm astonished to see this listing about Platinum. I made several programmes with them for BBC and Channel 4 and I've known Terry Kelleher for years - at Thames TV where he was the highly respected editor of a business affairs programme and later at Platinum where he was one of the most trusted and well respected independents supplying programmes to all major UK channels. Terry retired a few years ago and that would be the only reason there are no current production credits listed. The comments made are completely untrue and defamatory. Deborah D Channel 4 London
