Pogo.com is an on-line gaming site which offers approx 50+ different types of card/board etc games. Membership is $30/$35 per year.

Every year my credit card is debited with this amount with no warning or request for renewal. There are NO telephone, or web numbers to contact them, it is virtually impossible.

Gaming experience is great but with no way to contact company I feel I am at their mercy.

Also a number of times per hour they announce (post) a member winner of a sum of money sometimes in the thousands. This post inlcudes the winning member's screen-name. I have yet to find any of these screen names on their site.

One member who's name was posted as a winner is still waiting after 6 wks for their money.

Great games - BAD & DECIEVING COMPANY. Shame on you Pogo.

I've been a member since 2002. I received an email stating to renew and couldn't log into my account. So I followed their procedures and something went wrong and I was billed for the monthly rate of $5 instead of the annual rate of $30. I then tried to correct this on-line through their site but I was double billed (monthly/annual). I couldn't seem to correct this on-line myself. So I called them. There is a phone number for EA Games / Pogo. I found them to be helpful and polite. They corrected by billing and refunded my $5. They also made sure I was on the annual plan as it is a savings of $30 per year. The refund was back in my account within 48 hours. Please try this number .. 1-(866)543-5435. I have heard of people not getting their prizes for over 60 days. Think the longest I heard was 6 months. They did get it though ... eventually. Good luck!

Dennie, Looks like they don't make it easy. It's owned by EA Games, and it appears you have to cancel from there (www.ea.com)Register there (free) if your pogo account info doesn't work. Below is how to do it from their FAQ..... "We're sorry you've decided to leave any of our Online games! If you'd like to cancel your account for The Sims Online, Club Pogo, or Ultima Online please click on the My Account link listed in the drop down menu when you click on your screen name at EA.com (this link will appear once you have logged in to EA.com). Once you are at My Account section, click on the Subscription Info tab and choose the Cancel Subscription link next to the game subscription you'd like to cancel. An example of this screen is shown below." Hope it helps....
