Pogo.com is a subscription based gaming service. For several years, I have contended with a number of problems relative to their operating systems' substrates. Regular use of their services causes two primary error codexes to appear on my screen, both which indicate long outdated protocols of interaction between browser [client,] and the server [host.]

First is the CRIPES! screen, indicating a possible problem with the small Applet program designed to interface my computer's operating system with that of the host. My reply to their request for protocol and specifics to the problem is this:--

Apple Inc.)
Mac OS X 10.6.4 (x86_64)
Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10_6_4; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.16 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0 Safari--

I've run secure tests on Java, and variant protocols for other programs or operations this system may require. I speak fluent French and German. No Trojan horses, unauthorized accesses, worms, viruses, or cybernetic attacks have occurred against this system over the past several days. All is presently in good order.

Those who might seek to compromise this security system would be well advised to let the sleeping dogs lie, in blissful repose. This isn't a challenge, a threat, or even a promise. It's a respectable way for me to admonish, "Live and Let Live."

Our dispute is by no means quite so serious. Massachusetts has the finest of consumer protection laws in the country, and I can easily hit you with a 93A, [product/service unsuitable for presentable mercantile use, unto the purpose for which it was[is] intended, vz. how, and under what claims were represented, as the product [service] was introduced into the consumer marketplace.

It's all here on hard disk:-- over five years of CRIPES, memory shortage, and occasional additional errors due to defects in your software [I choke on that every day,] and what appears as something just as bad, if not worse:-- error messages generated by your server, and passed on to consumers, with descriptions and codons going back 15 and 20 years!!!

So here I am -- :(**

You have one HELL of a LONG WAY to go before I would even recommend use of your services to a dog I hate.

Please don't take this is as downright derision. You CAN make your service want, but YOU have to do what it takes to weed out the dross from you ever-burgeoning garden. CUT THE HAY, OK??!!--

I'm rooting for you all the way ==

Thanks ==:)*

Sounds like a faithful employee speaking up favorably for his/her company.

I have been playing at pogo.com for quite awhile with free accts. too. But I am also plagued with problems right and left and even in the middle. I regularly get CRIPES and lost connection and pid (fatal java) errors.

Might be your system as there's millions of satisfied subscribers who have no problems playing. yes, I happen to be one. Played for 7 years for free, subscribed in January. Been through3 different computers, never a problem for me.
