After selecting a hot tub from Polar Spas and purchasing it, Chris Shaw and his team swapped out (with no communications to the now new owner) a functioning motor from the purchased, functioning, display model, and replaced it with another pump that was not meant for the model, that was insufficient and inappropriate to the purchased unit rendering it non-functioning.
Chris Shaw and his team then delivered the non-functioning unit and immediately expected payment to begin on the now useless unit. Despite multiple attempts to contact Chris Shaw and his team Polar Spas chose to delay, stall, or not respond to communications.
Correspondance with the manufacturers of the unit, as well as his current supplier indicating his unethical, dishonest, unprofessional behavior were unsuccessful. Before 60 days expired requests to pick up the non-functioning unit that Polar Spas was storing in our yard were made, along with requests to refund the money and contact the finance company.
Chris Shaw CHOSE to ignore the requests, FAILED to address the communications, FAILED to refund the money, and FAILED to contact the Crelogix (finance company) to inform them of the inappropriateness of the debt.
By all demonstrations this is an individual and company devoid of any profesionalism, ethics, customer service, concern for their own deceitful behaviors. At no time did staff demonstate any level of competence, communication ability or knowledge of the product resulting in communications with the manufacturer.
