I hired Tabitha Poole, owner of Poole Construction to do repairs on my home after a pipe burst in my home flooding 4 rooms and damaging my bathroom after the Atlanta Freeze in 2014. Her company came in and appeared very professional, I knew her from my husband's company working with her on previous jobs. She dealt with State Farm, handled all the claims, sent in the contract to them, and at first everything was fine. Then it got to the end of the job and she started slacking off, claiming everyone in her family had heart attacks, people died, she had so many personal problems that diverted her from completing the job. She would not give me a copy of the contract after numerous requests (now almost a year later and I still haven't received a copy), she didn't finish the bathroom with dry wall or paint, the wood floors started coming apart and upon numerous requests to contact her, she never replied. This morning my husband noticed leaking in the bathroom and removed the sink she replaced and noticed the pipes are leaking, she never insulated the pipes in the walls (which was what she noted was in the contract to State Farm). Please beware of her, she likes to work in the Gay and l*****n community and with older people. She works with a lot of communities in the Kennesaw and Metro Atlanta area. She comes off professional, but after talking to others, she has a reputation of not completing jobs after receiving payment.
