Post Media, Registry Patrol, Paul Tremblay My experience mirrors what many other people are saying--I downloaded the free trial of Registry Patrol which scanned my computer and found "numerous Registry problems" but, ot course, would not fix Internet
I downloaded a free trial version of Registry Patrol and it informed me that I had numerous problems and errors with my computer and It would only fix them if I purchased the paid version for $39.99. They did have the appearance/look of a legitimate website and it was, of course, rated at "five stars" by the "Computer Geek" (or whoever!) on the Internet page that originally recommended this Program--so I sent the money through Pay Pal and after it was confirmed Registry Patrol sent me the Unlock Code; this Unlock Code never worked even after my complaints and they sent me another Unlock Code which is also not working. Every time this Program runs it requires a reboot of my system and it still won't fix any problems, now it is telling me that my "15 day free trial period has expired" and to send them $39.00 for the full Program! I have made numerous complaints to their Support or Administrative Staff and I always get the same obligatory (and probably computer generated) response saying they will get back to me within 24-48 hours. I filed a complaint with Pay Pal which forwards my description of the complaint to Registry Patrol to elicit a response, and I received that exact same obligatory response from Registry Patrol as I had gotten earlier. I went onto the Internet and I found this Website with many complaints just like this one! RonM. Lake Elsinore, Ca.
