I find it strange that you only went to ford.com and then to power ford. Why would you stop there? I've found the internet to be one of the best tools for buying vehicles. When I bought my last ford truck, I contacted dealers within a 250 mile radius. I did my homework. You can find out what rebates and incentives are avaliable and what the dates are, that they will go into effect and expire. There are plenty of rebates and incentives the dealer won't tell you about, that you have to ask for. I let the dealers, within the 250 radius, fight it out over the internet, for my business. There are even websites that tell you what you ought to pay for a vehicle and what most people are paying for them. I think Edmund's and Kelley blue book are just a couple of the sites, there are others. I did the same thing for finance. Let the credit unions and banks fight for our business. On my truck, to get the FMC $1000,I had to finance with them at a whopping 7.75%. 20 days later, I received my coupon book from FMC. Got on the internet found the two institutions with the lowest interest rates. The one offered 3.9% on vehicles OVER $20k. Called the other and said XYZ credit union is offering 3.9%. Didn't tell 'em about the $20k restriction. 3.9% WITH FREE GAP insurance. For you suckers that pay $500 to $900 or more, for GAP insurance to the dealer, take note. The bank overnighted a check to FMC for amount due, no prepayment penalty. Didn't have to make a payment for 3 months. Put the money into an account and will pay the truck off early. I got a $24k truck for $17k with about 5 different rebates and incentives. I figured I'd pay $32k or $33k for your expedition, but that's just me.

Before to go to any other Power Ford (or Power Anything), please consider, that ALL LA/Orange County Power dealerships are owned by the SAME scumbag guys. Stay away from ALL of them.
